STEPS ON HOW TO DISABLE YOUR LAPTOP FROM AUTO POWER OR STARTING UP AUTOMATICALLY WHEN OPENING THE LID;How do I disable auto-startup when I open the lid of my laptop

There are various reasons as to why your laptop startup upon opening the lid....but the major cause is the fast boot feature that is being pre-installed into new systems.
    Well the good news is we've got you covered,all you have to do is follow the following highlighted solution,lets go;

STEP 1. Go to your control panel and click on power option

Note: incase you don't see power option click on the category at the upper right corner of the control panel window and change it to large icon then you'll see the power option

STEP 2. Click on "Choose what the power botton does" at the left corner

STEP 3. "Click on Change settings that are currently unavailable"

STEP 4.Disable fast startup save the changes and restart your pc

 

STEP 5. Try closing the lid and opening it,by now the problem of autostart should have been solved,but you'll notice that your pc is slow in starting up and powering down...its nothing to worry about because we are not done yet.

   Go back to step 4 and re-enable the "Turn on Fast startup"  like this;

and save the changes,restart your system and voila you're done
